Hexpert is operated by DRJ Technologies LLC. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it. We keep it simple because our data practices are simple.
Guest UUID — generated on first visit (no account needed). Identifies your device for usage tracking.
Email and name — collected when you sign in. Used for account identity and billing receipts.
Payment email — collected by Stripe during Game Night Pass purchases. We do not store payment details.
Chat messages — your rules questions and AI responses. Stored for conversation history and service improvement.
Usage metrics — token counts and query counts per session. Used for billing, quota enforcement, and cost monitoring.
We do not sell your data to anyone.
We do not serve ads or use ad trackers.
We do not share your data with third parties except as described below.
We do not use your chat messages to train AI models. Your questions are sent to Anthropic's API for answering and are subject to Anthropic's data handling policies.
Anthropic — processes your rules questions via their Claude API. Subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy. API inputs are not used for model training.
Stripe — processes payments. Handles your payment method and billing email. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy. We do not store credit card numbers.
Ory — self-hosted by DRJ Technologies to handle account sign-in.
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on AWS (US West region). Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We retain chat history and usage data for the lifetime of your account. Guest data is retained indefinitely but is not tied to a real identity.
You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us. Guest users can clear their browser's localStorage to remove their guest UUID — this effectively disconnects them from any stored data. We will respond to deletion requests within 30 days.
Hexpert uses localStorage to store your guest ID, authentication token, and pass code. We do not use analytics cookies or tracking pixels. Our authentication service and Stripe may set cookies during authentication and payment flows.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via the Service. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
